Anyone have experience with Direct PC

I got a message from a friend who lives out in the boonies (I think
Arizona). He is not able to get Cable modem or ISDN service in his area
for years. The newsgroups are somewhat negative, but childish. Does anyone
have any real experiences with Direct PC:http://www.direcpc.com/
