Howdy All,
I have been to a couple conferences and a couple people have
mentioned AFS (Andrew File System). I have tried to do some searches to
learn more about AFS, but I had a hard time finding the information I was
looking for. I just did one more search (this one on Google) and did find a
great page on AFS. AFS is considered more secure because, it appears, it
works only with kerberos. Both the client and server authenticate to each
other. No trusts. I figured I would mention it here since the meeting I
missed was about security and this is something I've been kinda thinking
about for a while. The great AFS page I found was:
http://www.alw.nih.gov/WWW/AFS-resources.html
The FAQ was tremendous and actually answered some of my questions. I hope
this helps you, if you are interested in security.

	Shel
