Linux on older machines

I believe there is some issue with paging on 8 Meg systems.  I had the
same problem and installing more ram allowed me to finish the linux
installation.  I think it has to do with the system using ram as a swap
file during installation. It does not affect it after because a real
swap file is created and used.
