Installing POP servers on linux?

And is highly and easily exploitable even on a good day.  Seriously
however, I think the latest version of the IMAP server that shipped with
redhat might be decent, so I will hold further comments to myself.  I
will continue to advocate my favorite pop3 server of choice (for the
umpteenth time) of qpopper from ftp.eudora.com. I have this employed on no
less than 10 or so production machines that I am involved with, and the
build and install are without difficulty, and the documentation is quite
complete for setup.  Both versions 2.53 and 3.0 build on the machines I've
used, with 2.53 being a sure-fire compile.  If you're in the market for
pop3 (and software that provides very nice scalability as well), that's
what I'd suggest to be my choice.
