ODBC. They used ODBC drivers for everything. PostgreSQL has better ODBC
drivers.

I won't even comment on it beating Interbase, since the ODBC drivers for
that are alpha at best, and binary-release only (AFAIK).

The release is marketing drivel. There are no hard results, no numbers,
nothing. MySQL/Interbase CAN'T run/pass some of the tests they ran (TPC-C)
because of their design (another arguement entirely!! please don't start!
<g>). It's comparing apples to oranges.

When other DB vendors tout their performance results they usually give
numbers or actual results, this is total marketing spin from Great Bridge,
and it's a shame they picked a great open source tool like PostgreSQL to
sell out with.
