Using Linux to transfer files from a DOS box

I've been given a Dell 486 SX-25, which has DOS 6.22 and WFW on
it, and a 3C509 3Com NIC. I'd like to back up the existing
files before putting Linux on the machine: please tell me if I
can use a Linux install floppy or rescue disk(s) to transfer the
existing DOS/WFW info to either my SAMBA box or a Win95 machine.

As an alternative, does anyone know how to put in a NetBEUI DOS
client? The 3Com installation routines for the windows drivers
all require the WFW source disks, which are probably in a museum
someplace.

There's about 140 MB of data, so I'm definitely NOT using
floppies :-(.

TIA.
