While on this topic, I'd like to take a minute to advocate TiK.  It's
actively being developed at http://tik.sourceforge.net .  It's highly
configurable and runs under most platforms using Tcl/Tk (I've only
used FreeBSD 2/3/4.X and Linux 2.2/2.4).  I'd suggest compiling Tcl & Tk 
8.3.1 from source, but it should run fine under earlier versions.  Give it
a try, it's fast, fun,  and configurable up the wazoo.
