In the Monitor section for your monitor. For example:
    Identifier  "A Monitor"
    VendorName  "Unknown"
    ModelName   "Unknown"

# HorizSync is in kHz unless units are specified.

# VertRefresh is in Hz unless units are specified.

The XF86Config file is normally located in /etc/X11, but may be 
elsewhere in some distributions.
