And by the way, this is ridiculous.  The entire POINT of Linux is that the
software is FREE.

There are THOUSANDS of applications for Linux, you just can't buy them in
a store, BECAUSE THEY'RE FREE.  Stores don't stock them because they can't
make money selling them, because they're available FOR FREE.
