Netscape 6 ready for prime time?

It is definetly not ready for prime time. For Linux it is basically a
Mozilla M18 talkback build with the mail and news client slightly
polished up. It is rough around the edges and they still have a little
work to do. On the other hand it does show potential, and netscape is
the only truly viable cross platform browser option. I can live with the
quirks, and will continue to use it and send in crash and bug reports.

Yes, it is possible to get a single file download for the installer. It
is a 30Mb file. Here is an ftp link to the Linux version

ftp://ftp.netscape.com/pub/netscape6/english/6.0/unix/linux22/sea/netscape-i686-pc-linux-gnu-sea.tar.gz

The netscape ftp server has single file downloads for linux 2.2 kernels,
win32, and Mac OS 8.5; just go to the sea directory under each platform
for the file. I just verified this poking around the ftp server.
