What sort of help/experience are you looking to offer/gain?  If you
want to gain experience writing Linux code, there are literally
thousands of open source projects you could hook up with.  Try
searching at www.sourceforge.net or freshmeat.net for ones that might
interest you.

There also seem to be people looking for cheap/free system
administration help popping up on this list and on GNHLUG from time to
time, if that's your gig.  Not sure where you could reliably find
sources of people needing these services though, other than the
afforementioned install fests...
