I I understood you correctly, you're planning to replace your PII with the
XEON?  I don't think that'll work. My understanding was that the Xeon
processors used a different slot type and required a motherboard with
450GX or 450NX chipsets.

I dug around http://tomshardware.com but could not find a specific article
backing up my theory.  But I did find this.
