disk boot error

I can't answer the question, but I have a question on your configuration. I
noticed that you have the swap space on /dev/sda11, which is at the end
of the drive. Normally, I try to place the swap in a centrally located
partition to reduce head movement. (If I have a separate /var, I like it
adjacent to that).

In any case, I also have an ASUS mother board with a SCSI CD ROM
with IDE disks, and likewise I have not been able to boot the CD ROMs.
