InstallFest Post Mortum...

After watching all the installs last Saturday, I tried doing another one
with my trusty ol' Red Hat 6.2 selecting new applications and a new
monitor but after the Full Install (and upon reboot) my screen display
began to flash (so much that I couldn't login). How does one recover
from choosing the right monitor with the wrong hor/vert settings? Or is
there a recovery at all?
