Monitors and power draw

Flat panel monitors use significantly less power than their CRT rivals. 
Typically, a 17 inch CRT monitor consumes 80~100 Watts, while a 15 inch flat 
panel (similar display area!) consumes only 30~40 Watts. In a large office 
with many screens, using flat panels will make a significant saving in 
electricity costs.
