Why do you need telnet access?  If you want to get stats / manipulate the
device without using a browser, then I wrote a perl script that you might
want to check out.  With it you can:
    print linksys status
    print connect status
    print wan ip
    print dns entries
    connect
    disconnect
    print dmz host
    set dmz host
