While I certainly agree with your statement about reports like this (just
like a lot of those life-threatening reports on the 10:00 news), it sure
sounds to me, if you read the whole article, that if you send your resume
to one company associated with monster.com, they all get it.  They tried
it and it worked.

Now, someone on the list I originally got this link from sayd "So what?
Isn't the whole idea to spread your resume around?"  Well some of us would
like to make sure our resumes don't end up in the hands of companies that
will send my resume out to 150 companies pretending to represent me, and
making me look bad in the process.  Or worse, spammers.
