Yeah, probably, and it wouldn't need to fire up a bunch  of
subprocesses. But ya gotta admit, a bash script is truly an
impressive show of hackitude.  I've done a few things  like
that  in  the past, to show that I could do them.  But when
I'm not trying  to  impress  anyone  (myself  included),  I
prefer to use a real programming language.
