Hi Nathan,

Further to my late posting/email to you

Start RH7.2 on rescue mode from CD

# umount /tmp/hdc1
No such file or directory

# umount /tmp/hdc2
No such file or directory

# cd /mnt/sysimage
# ls

fstab was not there, only mtab listed as follows:

fonts.cgz group keymaps.gz kon.cfg lang-table loader.tr
minikon.fnt mtab passwd pamcia protocols ramfs.img
services terminfo

B.Regards
Stephen

No. I have not touched anything on this drive in question before I took
action to fix this kernel panic problem.

My late discovery was that I have re-arranged the RAM, taking out some RAM
cartridges and replace them with another reducing total RAM from 384MB to
256MB. However this box still works with another hard disk (WinME).

Have you had any idea how to fix the problem?

Thanks

Stephen
