It is all meaningless :-). 
In February, 1582, the current Gregorian calendar was officially launched. This corrected some 
problems with the Julian Calendar, which was in existence since 46BC. And that was based on a 
previous calendar that had been in use for over 200 years. 
However, if you want to bring a few straight jackets to tonight's meeting I'm sure you'l be able to 
use them.
