I agree with this. The issue is how the system will be used. If you need throughput, SCSI will give 
you better throughput. 

For home use, even a home server, IDE is probably sufficient. If you are using this for a small 
business with a few users, again, IDE is probably sufficient, but as the disk traffic increases, SCSI 
wins. 

You also need to consider where to place the swap file.
