Old Dated spammish E-mails

I've been receiving spam-mails that are dated very old so they end up at
the bottom of my e-mail heap. So far no indication that they are
malicious, but I do find it odd that I continue to get them several
times a day from different sources. They are mostly about losing weight.

Is there something going around that I should know about?
