   KITE, Inc. invites you to our first annual "International Evening with
   KITE"!

   Thanks to the help of our supporters and the hard work of KITE staff
   and volunteers, the Lungujja Women's Association of Uganda and the
   Gitaru Self-Help Water Project of Kenya are now enjoying the benefits
   of computer access.

   KITE has had a successful first year of active programmatic work. To
   celebrate this achievement and to ensure our continued success we are
   hosting our first annual "International Evening with KITE" in the Lothrop
Room (2nd floor) of the Community Church of Boston (565 Boylston Street in
Copley Square) on October 12th, 2002!

   Featuring:

     * DJ spinning international tunes
     * local and international cuisine
     * a raffle hosted by Miguel de Icaza, CTO and Co-Founder of
       Cambridge's Ximian Company and founder and leader of the GNOME
       foundation. We'll be giving away assorted Linux-themed goodies,
       the main prize being a Linux computer configured by KITE's
       Technical Board

   International attire is encouraged, but you're welcome to come in your
   slashdot shirt, or whatever casual wear you like.

   If you'll be in the Boston area on Saturday, October 12th between 7
   and 9 PM and would like to attend, please RSVP chloe at kiteinc.org.
   Suggested donation is $10 at the door.
