Problem Resolved: ATT BroadBand Port Blocking!

Thanks a lot for your very helpful insights.
After all of my efforts failed I came to the conclusion that 
there should be something wrong with the router so I returned 
it and got a new one.

Late last night I got a chance to install my new router and everything 
worked fine, from DMZ to port-forwarding, ...

Thanks again for the valuable time you devoted to resolving this problem.
