I just heard a case where Lexmark (the IBM printer spinoff) is pressing 
charges against a company who is refilling their laser toner cartridges 
because they reverse-engineered the smart chip Lexmark put in the card 
specifically to prevent refilling.

The DMCA is nigh boundless, the way it is written.
