Linux course and NEU (eg. Northeastern)

Thanks for all the replies. The first thing I'm going to do is to pick
up a course catalog (if I don't already have one somewhere). I have also
sent email to the department admin to get me the book and an old
syllabus that I can work from. I will also contact the guy who last
taught the course. 

The first class is really an introduction to the course. At that point I
can ascertain who my students are and what they expect to get out of the
course. 

I have taught the Unix course before, and I've had quite a range of
people from those were were not very computer literate to those who were
Windows system admins. 

This is not a course for system admins. I plan to teach them how to
configure their own system, install and use software. Install from RPM
and install from tarballs. 

Since most Linux distros today are KDE or GNOME based, I will work
within a graphical environment (I may install Red Hat on my other laptop
so I can have both Red Hat and SuSE).
