I lied.  I'm running debian, and recently applied a bunch of XFree86
updates.  I guess when my battery died was the first time I rebooted.
It didn't even cross my mind until later that I had done this.

I just came into work, and applied the recent debian updates to beige
box.  Debian stable - no unstable/testing.  Same problem.

Has anyone else recently upgraded their Debian system?  Any problems
with X?
