Help building gcc

Dude!  Thanks for trying to help me, but:

AIX5.1 != AIX5.2 by a significant amount, and I've been adviced by the 
sysadmin to not trust stuff from 5.1, as they are years apart.

404: not found.  Did you actually see it there, or did you just see the 
link somewhere without following it? Or did the Men In Black delete it?

That's gcc 2.9, which as I mentioned is about 4 years old.

For the record, my boss would be jubilant if I were able to download 
binaries instead of doing the work myself.  Cheating is allowed here.
