I don't know if switching your adapter is a possibility, but I signed up 
for VoicePulse recently. They use the Sipura units and it was "plug in - 
wait 30 seconds - got dial tone" sort of thing. No firewall (Linksys 
consumer router) changes needed, although I intend to add QoS for the 
adapter with a new router just in case. You can buy the Sipura unit for 
<$100.
