This is my working .fetchmailrc
# Configuration created Sun Aug 22 13:05:28 1999 by fetchmailconf
set postmaster "postmaster"
poll mail.comcast.net with proto POP3 user feldman.g is gaf pass XXX
fetchall ssl

Note that Comcast requires ssl
