HTML not so evil (was Re: Eudora Replacement)

I don't see the big deal with HTML email and/or attachments... first,
even Mutt can be easily configured to use lynx or links or whatever to
view html email just fine....

With attachments, there are plenty of third-party programs that you
can setup with your SMTP server to strip out attachments or MIME
encodings....

I really can't believe how much attention this thread has gotten.
