Sendmail and /dev/null

I posted a query a few weeks ago, and worked around my problem by simply
setting the smtp server in my mail client. Initially, someone said the
issue was with my use of the gaf.net domain that I use in my subnet.

However, in doing some testing, it all has to do with the mailertable.

My mailertable is set up currently as:
.aol.com                smtp:smtp.comcast.net
aol.com                 smtp:asgard.blu.org
comcast.net             smtp:asgard.blu.org
.comcast.net            smtp:asgard.blu.org
<snip>

Sendmail is reporting:
i9QIu5C6012148        0 Tue Oct 26 14:56 <gaf at gaf.blu.org>
                 (Deferred: Connection refused by dev.null.)
                                         <feldman.g at comcast.net>
i9R2NM3V015857      842 Tue Oct 26 22:23 <gaf at heli-vets.net>
                 (Deferred: Connection refused by dev.null.)
                                         <Cybrdeer at aol.com>

This removed TheWorld and gaf.net from the formula. heli-vets.net is the
same as blu.org. My sendmail.cf is the same one I have been using since
January when I last made copies of my configuration files.

This seems to occur only when the mailertable comes into play. I did not
make any changes to sendmail.cf before this started to happen, and I do not
recall a recent update of sendmail from SuSE. Before this started to occur
I was using both asgard.blu.org and smtp.comcast.net as the smtp hosts.
Both worked fine.
