CVS question

I want to change the log entry. When I committed some changes, I mistakenly 
duplicated the log entry, and I want to correct the log entry only. One way 
of doing this is to edit the ,v file in the CVS repository directly.  
Another is to revert the file and make the change again. 

It there a way that an administrator can change an existing log entry by 
using a CVS command.
