Small Open Source projects

David,

	I'm interested in most sports, golf, skiing, soccer, sailing,
etc so anything project pertaining to sports would interest me very
much. As for general computer areas multimedia, security and wireless
are up there. I'm really up for anything.

	In regards to my ability I am more of a Windows .NET developer
and work in that environment professionally for Fidelity Investments.
I've been messing with Linux on my own since High school and took C,
C++, Java classes when working towards my Comp Sci degree.

I'm sure we can all rattle off a bunch of projects that desperately need

help, but a better starting point is to find out what your interestes
and 
abilities are.  If the project doesn't center around one of your 
interests, it's not going to be very enjoyable.

If you just want to see what open source projects are out there, 
http://sourceforge.net and http://freshmeat.net/ are good starts.
