Dual Boot XP and Fedora Core (?)

Hello

There are lots of things on Google that explain 
installing Linux and Dual Boot with XP.
Some of these seem detailed and some seem rather
opinionated.

My goal is to install Fedora Core 4 on
a Thinkpad that has XP Pro already on it...
What are the caveats or "watch-out for's"?

Is there a Web Site that has good installation
procedure or details that people have grown to 
respect?
