Rack equipment vendor/thoughts on Dell?

I like the HP stuff and the IBM stuff. We've used both, and they are
pretty much even in price, quality, and service. The Dell stuff that I
have encountered is not as well manufactured as the HP and IBM stuff.
Most everything on the higher-end IBM servers is hot-swappable, and what
isn't is built to be replaced quickly. That alone for a 24x7
installation is worth it. HP hardware is a close second to IBM in the
servicability. The Dell stuff we've seen isn't nearly as servicable, but
I could probably buy 3 for every 2 of HP or IBM. I suspect that IBM
support on Linux is likely to be better than HP's, but I am just
guessing there. We've never used anyone for OS support.
