Motherboard problem RESOLVED

Hello:

Mark provided the solution to this problem. Although I have two
voltmeters, I was a bit scared of using them while the machine was on.
I got a biology degree, not one in EE. It was easy to remove cards,
so I did that first. I had recently bought a card to set up MythTV, a
2 tuner PCI card. When the board was removed, the system has booted
a dozen times without a problem, and the computer has stayed up many
hours without crashing.

Looks like now I'll need a different computer to set up MythTV. Since
the card has encoders, I will be able to get a used one at the swap
fest and add in a decent size hard drive. If anyone here knows how
slow a box I can get away with or how much RAM a media center
requires, feel free to discuss.

Thanks again Mark,
doug
