What laser printers do you like?

A couple of additional thoughts. You may want to check if the models support 
duplexing. 

Additionally, Brother printers are now on sale at Staples (though you 
probably can do better).
Brother MFC-8840D Laser Flatbed All-in-One Series is $399 and it also does 
duplex. (The MFC-8840DN is networked).

Samsung CLP-510 Color Laser Printer is $249.98 (This also does duplex).
I have not checked on Network or Linux capability on this one.
