I second the notion of that being a cheapie card. If you still have the
receipt, take it back. There was a wg511 version 1 that had a nice
linux-friendly chipset, but they don't sell it anymore.
Ummm, isn't the CF50 a new laptop? It didn't come with an internal
wireless card? How about an internal mini-pci slot?
I have the Intel 2915 A/B/G card in my laptop (internal mini-pci) and love
its native Linux drivers. If you bought your laptop without wireless,
hopefully inside it's wired with the antenna and you can just insert a
nice mini-pci card.
If you pricewatch "intel 2915" you can find these cards for $23 with free
shipping.
