HDD problem - hda: status timeout: status=0xd0 { Busy }

I finally got this straightened out today. I added a kernel option
in grub.conf:

    ide0=noprobe

and then the system found the correct driver for the SATA disk.
After that, no more ide resets. And the drive comes up correctly
as /dev/sda, instead of /dev/hda.
