Syncong Palm devices with Linux

I've played with pilot-link quite a bit. 
There are a number of different utilities that make up the package. 
install-user This is used to install a user into the Palm. You would
normally do this before a restore.
dlpsh is also a very good tools to take a look at your pilot. 

Additionally, there could be some code to add to udev or possibly the
kernel module
/usr/src/linux/drivers/usb/serial/visor.[ch]. 
When I first got my Treo, one of the suggestion was to add a couple of
lines to this, but on further investigation, I did not need to do this.
