Looking for advice on finding an entry level linux programming position

I apologize if this is an inappropriate use for this list, but I was
wondering
if anyone could recommend any companies that hire interns or entry level
programmers (preferably linux) in the Boston area.

I have been having little luck, part of which I assume is because I have
an unrelated bachelor's degree (Nutrition/Food Science) and am a few weeks
from completing a Certificate in Applied Science in Software Engineering.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.
