FC5 problems with Java/Tomcat

Your best bet is to install the Sun JVM and set up your environment to 
use that instead of gcj.  The gcj that came with FC5 had a few 
shortcomings w.r.t. full Java compatibility.  (the Java-1.5 version of 
gcj that came with Fedora 7 is pretty good, but I've still seen some 
problems with GUI apps).
