My new HP scanner came with a cleaner pad that you pass through like 
paper.  It allegedly cleans the scanner element and the rollers as it 
passes through.  Since the pad will pass through on this scanner with a 
180 degree loop, I suspect that it will do so through a printer.  Maybe 
this will remove crud, grease, and other stuff and therefore maybe avoid 
jamming?
