Some protected audio discs use the Windows Autorun feature to load the
EXE, which facilitates the hiding of tracks.  Other protected discs
physically destroy the medium is some specially designed way.
Actually, since these 'CD's don't conform to any standards (not red
book of course) then ther eis no way to know.  In fact, sometimes they
are so badly munged that they won't even legitimately work in an
actual CD drive that plays audio discs!  Thank your large corporate
outfit for that and return the disc promptly for a refund :-)
