I don't know of a free NFS client for Windoze, but you can have NFS and
Samba both export the same share.  So unless you've got a good reason not
to, samba's the way to go.

Should be completely transparent to the client what the server's underlying
filesystem is with both NFS and Samba.  The one thing you'll notice though
is that since Windows doesn't know about symlinks, so Samba makes them look
like real files (but it "does the right thing" from the unix perspective).
