SCO Unix help needed

Thanks for reading this.

I have a potential customer who was referred to me by another customer.
It's the usual story, of course: he has a

<outdated box nobody can help with>

... and wants me to cure all its ills in five minutes or less. I need
help.

This guy has a SCO Unix machine, running some proprietary software that
he's using for inventory. His tech person says the SCO box is
spontaneously rebooting after 30 minutes of use.

So, the questions:

1. What would cause SCO Unix to do that?
2. Is SCO Unix similar to SYS V?
3. Has anyone seen/heard of/dealt with "IST" software?

Thanks for your time.

Bill Horne
