Scanning for my printer's "new" IP address

Hello:

I have a comcast cable router. I've misplaced the user/password to
the router. At one time I had assigned the address 192.168.1.5, but
that address is not pingable while the printer is one and connected to
the network (the two lights on the ethernet port blink on and off).
Isn't there a command to look through local IP addresses for the
printer, which is listening for print jobs? This machine is being
assigned the address 192.168.1.2 by the DHCP server.

Thanks,
doug
