Lots of people are afraid to ask questions that might make you think
they are uninformed.  So not asking does not imply knowledge of Linux
:-)  However, I find that any reasonably educated 20-something these
days knows what Linux is.  My whole family uses Linux, and now they
tell people about it too.  But, it is still a very hostile OS to the
user and that's why it has not permeated the masses yet.  Maybe by
kernel 3.0...
