text formatting problem

Try sending a binary Microsoft Word compatible .doc file. I know that
Quark does import Microsoft Word documents, but that is only a stab
since rtf files should be ok. 

Just adding to this, what are you using to export from?
OpenOffice.org does a reasonably decent job of producing MSFT
compatible documents, but make sure you have version 2.0 or better.
